Article: Advocacy support for vulnerable adults Article Body Sometimes people have difficulty in communicating their needs for whatever reason. Advocacy services can help by supporting people to express their needs and wishes, to access services and to find the right information. An advocate can also represent a client's interests if the person feels unable to speak on their own behalf, or, can quietly support them by just being there in the room as discussions are taking place.
