Darfield Children's Centre is at the heart of the community, providing a range of services that are flexible and tailored to suit individual family needs. The day care facilities provide children with challenge and creativity, providing exciting learning opportunities to support your child to develop and thrive in a safe environment. Our experienced staff team ensures that each child has a wide range of opportunities which will enhance their learning and development. Our family support team provides guidance on a range of concerns or topics such as breastfeeding, teething, toilet training and much more. Family groups have been creatively planned and delivered with families and children in mind. These groups offer peer support, stimulating activities and an opportunity to share experiences in a friendly, welcoming and well resourced environment. The children's centre received a 'Good' judgement from Ofsted in November 2010, quoting : "The centre provides good quality services; care, guidance and support through its centre-based activities, family and outreach services, and all staff are passionate about their roles and have a good level of expertise and professional knowledge to successfully help families".
