Barnsley Connects Service Centres

Barnsley Connects provides access to information on all of Barnsley Council Services, and participating partnering organisations for the public.

Access to services is available through a range of facilities, all designed to suit the preference of the customer.

Highly trained staff, with a commitment to delivering a customer focused service work from easily accessible new or refurbished buildings, supported by information systems and innovative use of IT. They are able to provide the customer with access to services, information and advice from a single visit to one of a number of Barnsley Connects Service Centre’s located throughout the borough, where customers can speak to an Information Services Officer face to face.

Primary Care Centre’s

Barnsley Connects operates a reception facility at a limited number of local Primary Care Centres on behalf of Barnsley PCT to help improve access local health services.

Barnsley PCT is responsible for supporting the local population of Barnsley to maintain good health. Its primary responsibility is to improve the health of the local people by promoting healthy lifestyles, providing care in the community and ensuring that appropriate hospital services are available.
