New open door out now

Barnsley Connects relocation

On Friday 26, March Darton Town Hall will close in readiness for the begining of the new building project which will see the construction of the Darton LIFT building. Barnsley Connects will be relocating from Darton Town Hall to Mapplewell Village Hall from Monday, 29 March.

Webcast of council meeting available to view

The archived webcast of the meeting of Full Council held on Thursday, 11 March is now available to view.

Welfare Rights number changing

The opening hours of Welfare Rights' advice line are being extended by two hours each day and will now be available from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 4.30pm on Friday, but the number to contact them is changing.

Free Passport to Leisure cards

Staff will be on the road in the Kendray and Worsbrough areas in March to issue or renew Passport to Leisure cards free of charge to any Barnsley resident eligible for membership.

Barnsley Core Strategy Publication consultation now open
