Summary

Eligibility

To be eligible for an allotment you must be over 18 years of age.

Procedure

To obtain an allotment you will need to contact the Allotment Office. If a telephone enquiry is made, you will be informed immediately if there is a plot available, and if requested an application form and site plan will then be forwarded for completion. On its return the application will be processed. If a plot is available on the site requested you will be sent two tenancy agreements both of which when completed must be returned, with a £10.00 Administration fee to the allotments office. One authorised tenancy agreement will then be returned for your retention within 10 days confirming the letting.

Applications in writing will be dealt with in the same manner. If a plot is not available on the site you requested, you will be placed on the waiting list. The waiting list is dealt with in strict date order.
