Fly Tipping

Summary

 Neighbourhood Pride deals with all issues that affect the street cleanliness, including grass cutting, litter collection, shrub bed maintenance, street sweeping, needle collections, and graffiti removal.
Fly tipping will be removed from any council-owned land.
Fly tipping removal from private land will be removed at cost, this is not the 'household waste collection service' run by Waste Management, contact no. 01226 774152.

Persons proved to be guilty of fly tipping will be prosecuted.

 Available to all residents of the Borough.

 

Procedure

 If you wish to report fly tipping  to request removal, on Council Land in your area please contact the Barnsley Connects Call Centre on 01226 775656  or using the online reporting form

 Charges based on estimates for work on private land.

 

Method of Payments Available

You can pay by credit card / debit card, alternatively payment can be made by invoice through the Barnsley connects offices.

 

How the customer can help

 Full and precise description of work required as well as:

• Name
• Address
• Daytime contact telephone number
• Specific location of problem
• Private land or council land if known
• Type of waste
• Approximate quantities i.e. number of bags, washers, Asbestos etc.
