Football and Rugby Pitch Hire

Summary

 

There are a number of sports pitches within the authority available for hire on a one off or seasonal basis, with or without changing accommodation.

 

Eligibility

 

Anyone over 18 years of age can make a booking.

 

Procedure

 

You can ring to check availability of a pitch required. If the pitch is available an application form is sent out, which must be completed and returned.

Renewal

Renewal notices are sent out to the current teams in February prior to the commencement of the new season.Application forms must be returned by the 31 April. Pitches are reserved for the clubs until that date.
The renewal is confirmed by the 30 June when the clubs will be informed of the pitch hired, the balance of payment, and whom they will be sharing the facilities with.

On confirmation an invoice will be sent requesting payment in two installments, the first installment on 31 July and the final installment on 31 October.
