Parks and Open Spaces - Events

Summary

 

There are a number of parks, recreation grounds and public open spaces that are available for hire, for events such as fairs, galas, circuses and rallies.

 

Eligibility

 

Anyone over 18 years of age can make a booking.

 

Procedure

 

Information and application forms are available from Neighbourhood Services. Subject to availability bookings are confirmed within 10 working days.

Charges/Fees

 

Monday - Saturday per day or part day £98
Sunday - Bank Holidays £130
Caravan Rallies - £3.50 per caravan / night

On large events a £1000 bond may also be required

Reductions may be given to Registered Charities and Community Associations upon request.

Cheque (10 working days prior to the event taking place)

How the customer can help

 

Customers can help by:

• Subject to the terms of the hire agreement, Hirers must provide evidence of Public Liability Cover
• Once you have completed your application form, please return it along with the appropriate fee to the Neighbourhood Services at Springfield House

Subject to the terms of the hire agreement, hirers must comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act.

 

Response Times/Next Steps

 

Once your application has been submitted along with all necessary details, your booking will be made and confirmed within 10 working days.
