Litter Bin Emptying

Summary

 

Neighbourhood Pride deals with all issues that affect street cleanliness, including grass cutting, litter collection, shrub bed maintenance, street sweeping, needle collections and graffiti removal.

All litter bins within the Borough are emptied on a scheduled basis.

 

Eligibility

 

Available to all Council departments.

Parish Councils can also pay to use the service.

 

Procedure

 

Bins are emptied to an agreed schedule.

Customers can report a missed or full bin and the problem will be addressed.

Charges based on estimates for work not within internal contracts.

No customer facing reception points for Neighbourhood Pride. Contact can be made through Barnsley Connects Offices.
