Staincross Municipal Golf Course

Summary

 

Situated on the A61 between Barnsley and Wakefield, this par 69 course offers the most competitive of golfers a challenge over its 5,951 yards course. You can play on a casual pay and play basis, or as a member, with tee off times being booked through the golf professional or his staff at the on-site shop.

 

Eligibility

 

General public male, female, adult or child.

 

Procedure

 

To play a round of golf you can ring up on the day to reserve a tee off time, or just turn up and hope there is a slot available.
Alternatively, a telephone-booking card purchased for £5 from the Golf Professional's Shop would allow you book a time 7 days in advance. Whereas, if you were to become a member you could reserve a time 8 days in advance and benefit from identified members only tee off times.
