Stillbirth Registering

The parents of stillborn children register still births.
Registration is by appointment at the Register Office, Barnsley Town Hall (Monday to Friday) or Goldthorpe Barnsley Connects Office (Wednesday only), or Penistone Barnsley Connects Office (Tuesdays).
You will be advised what information is required when the appointment is made. Appointments outside normal office hours may be available. Please contact the Register Office for details.
There is no charge to register but you can get a copy of an entry of a still birth registration at a cost of £3.50. Payment can be made by cash, cheques, credit or debit cards. Cheques should be made payable to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council.
