Councillor Brian Perrin

Biographical Information

Councillor Brian Perrin represents the Dodworth Ward.  He was elected in May 2007, and his term of office expires in 2011.  He is a member of the Barnsley Independent Group.

Councillor Perrin has served on the Council since 2004.

The Ward Map displays the boundaries of all the electoral districts in the Barnsley borough.

The majority of Members hold regular informal meetings known as surgeries, details of which are updated on a weekly basis.

Council Membership (Including Outside Bodies)

Councillor Perrin sits on the following:  Health and Adult Services Scrutiny Commission, Cross Cutting Scrutiny Commission, Appeals and Awards Regulatory Board and Planning Regulatory Board.

Councillor Perrin represents the Council on the South Yorkshire Pensions Authority and also on the following outside bodies:  Dodworth Miners Welfare Scheme and Stainborough Park Management Liaison Committee.

Councillor Perrin is a Governor at The Kingstone School.
