Biographical Information
Councillor Andrews represents the Rockingham Ward. He was elected in May 2006 and his term of office expires in 2010. He is a member of the Labour Group. Councillor Andrews is the Deputy Leader of Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, Vice Chair of Cabinet and also Chairman of South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service
Councillor Andrews has served on the Council since 1986.
The Ward Map displays the boundaries of all the electoral districts in the Barnsley borough.
The majority of Members hold regular informal ward meetings known as surgeries, details of which are updated on a weekly basis.

Councillor Andrews is a Governor of Hoyland Common Primary School.
