Councillor Ken Richardson

Biographical Information

Councillor Ken Richardson represents the Monk Bretton Ward.  He was elected in May 2006 and his term of office expires in 2010.  He is a member of the Labour Group

Councillor Richardson has served on the Council since 2004.  He is the Cabinet Support Member without Portfolio.

The Ward Map displays the boundaries of all the electoral districts in the Barnsley borough.

The majority of Members hold regular informal ward meetings known as surgeries details of which are updated on a weekly basis.

Councillor Richardson sits on the following:  Regeneration Scrutiny Commission, Planning Regulatory Board, General Licensing Regulatory Board, Statutory Licensing Regulatory Board, Standards Committee and Audit Committee.

Councillor Richardson sits on the following Outside Bodies Cooper Art Gallery, Priory Campus Board of Trustees and Voluntary Action Barnsley.

Councillor Richardson is a Governor at Carlton Primary School and Littleworth Grange Primary Learning Centre.
