Councillor Mary Brankin

Biographical Information

Councillor Mary Brankin represents the Rockingham Ward.  She was elected in May 2008, and her term of office expires in 2012.  She is a member of the Barnsley Independent Group. 

Councillor Mary Brankin has served on the Council since 2003.

The Ward Map displays the boundaries of all the electoral districts in the Barnsley borough.

The majority of Members hold regular informal ward meetings known as surgeries, details of which are updated on a weekly basis.

Councillor Brankin sits on the following:  Regeneration Scrutiny Commission, Cross Cutting Scrutiny Commission, Planning Regulatory Board and Statutory Licensing Regulatory Board.

Councillor Mary Brankin is a Governor at St Helen’s Catholic Primary School.

Councillor Brankin does not sit on any Outside Bodies.
