Councillor Robert Barnard

Biographical Information 

Councillor Robert Barnard represents the Penistone East Ward.  He was elected in May 2006, his term of office will expire in 2010.  He is a member of the Conservative Group.

The Ward Map displays the boundaries of all the electoral districts in the Barnsley borough.

The majority of Members hold regular informal ward meetings known as surgeries, details of which are updated on a weekly basis.

Council Membership (Including Outside Bodies)

Councillor Barnard sits on the following:  Children’s Services Scrutiny Commission, Children’s Services Rota Visits and Appeals and Awards Regulatory Board.

Councillor Barnard also sits on the Stainborough Park Management Liaison Committee, the Western Area Rural Transport Partnership, Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation Management Committee and the Yorkshire Rural Community Council.
