Councillor Sharon Howard

Biographical Information

Councillor Sharon Howard represents the Darton West Ward.  She was elected in May 2006, and her term of office expires in 2010.  She is a member of the Labour Group..

The Ward Map displays the boundaries of all the electoral districts in the Barnsley borough.

The majority of Members hold regular informal ward meetings known as surgeries, details of which are updated on a weekly basis.

Council Membership (Including Outside Bodies)

Councillor Howard is the Cabinet Support Member for Corporate Services and Finance and Property Services.  She also sits on the following:  Children’s Services Scrutiny Commission, General Licensing Regulatory Board and Statutory Licensing Regulatory Board.

Councillor Howard is a Governor of Birdwell Primary School.

Councillor Howard sits on the Barnsley Schools PFI Project Board Outside Body.
