Councillor Trevor Smith

Biographical Information

Councillor Trevor Smith represents the Darfield Ward.  He was elected in May 2006, and his term of office expires in 2010.  He is a member of the Barnsley Independent Group.

Councillor Smith has served on the Council since 2004.

The Ward Map displays the boundaries of all the electoral districts in the Barnsley borough.

The majority of Members hold regular informal ward meetings known as surgeries, details of which are updated on a weekly basis.

Councillor Smith sits on the Environment Scrutiny Commission and Planning Regulatory Board.

Councillor Smith sits on the following Outside Bodies:  Berneslai Homes Board, Darfield Old Persons’ Management Organisation and the Maurice Dobson Charity.
