The Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council/Faith Communities Forum was established in 2000 to provide a means by which the Council and the faith community can discuss matters of mutual interest or concern. It also helps the faith community to broaden their knowledge of what the Council is doing and its future plans. The Forum also helps to promote partnership working between the Council and faith community groups. It is chaired by the Council Leader and comprises senior Council members and representatives from the Christian and minority faith communities in Barnsley. It meets on a quarterly basis in Barnsley Town Hall.
Minutes of meetings of the forum and associated reports are available to the public and can be accessed by clicking on the link on this page
