CANNON Hall Museum, Park and Gardens near Barnsley will be celebrating two national events this weekend (15 and 16 October) by inviting visitors to make a funny face.
The faces could be members of visitors' families or might be inspired by the portraits of the Spencer-Stanhope family who lived at Cannon Hall for six generations.
Among the 1,500 events happening across Yorkshire and the UK for the Campaign For Drawing's sixth annual Big Draw, Cannon Hall Museum is offering the opportunity for visitors to sketch a portrait, pop it on a display board and enter a free prize draw.
Join the dots challenge sheets are also on hand and the fun starts from 12 noon on Saturday.
Staff at Cannon Hall Museum will continue to make faces during a creative craft workshop on Sunday to mark Family Learning Week. The activity will be sure to make eyes roll and mouths open and in a fun quiz, children can be pitted against their parents to see who is really able to correctly identify the range of pictures provided.
If you dare take on the 'young' masters, sessions start at 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm, costing £1.
For parents or carers who are stuck for ideas to keep the kids entertained there are lots of suggestions for them to have fun learning together from the Campaign For Learning. Details will be made available on the day.
