COME along to view the proposed plans bringing Penistone Market into the 21st century.
Local people have the opportunity to see how things are developing with Penistone Market this Saturday (12 December) between 9am and 1.30pm. Local ward councillors for Penistone East and West will be available to have a chat.
The Farmers Market is run by a small but dedicated team of local volunteers. Stalls at the Christmas market will include chickens, cakes, chocolate, meat, breads, cheese, honey and preserves and Christmas trees. There will be carol singing from Churches Together and free chocolates for children.
John Peachey, Senior Locality Support Officer for Barnsley’s South West Area Partnership, said: “We hope you are able to come along to Penistone Local Food and Farmers Market, showing support to its local traders, enjoy some bargains as well as speaking to your local ward members.”
