Barnsley leading the way in blood donation
The recent spell of cold weather has meant that some blood donation sessions across the UK have been cancelled, and with the weather set to remain, there is a risk of this being repeated.
Although we do not anticipate shortages at this time, when the weather returns to normal we would like blood donation to resume as soon as possible.
As Barnsley has five blood donation sessions in late January/early February, we are aiming for a strong turnout to boost stocks.
The sessions are as follows:
Holy Rood Parish Hall
Wednesday 20 January 2010, 11-12:45, 2-4 and 5-7:15
Wednesday 27 January 2010 3:15-8:30
Royston Civic Hall
Friday 22 January 2010, 11-12:45, 2-4 and 5-7:15
Barnsley District General Hospital
Wednesday 27 January 2010, 11-12:45, 2-4 and 5-7:15
Barnsley Metrodome
Tuesday 02 February 2009, 11-12:45, 2-4 and 5-7:15
