Weather conditions mean bin collections suspended

Due to the severe weather conditions, the bin collections have been severely disrupted today and our priorities for the next few days will be the grey bins. If your grey bin has been missed today, you are advised to leave it out in a safe place for the rest of the week and we will endeavour to return if it is safe to do so.

If your green, blue or brown bins have been missed it is unlikely that we will return until your next scheduled collection so you are advised to bring these bins in for the time being.

In the event of further disruption because of the weather, bin crews will continue working with Highways and Neighbourhood Services colleagues to help with snow clearing efforts.

All four of the household waste recycling centres have also been closed for the rest of the day, but we hope that these will be open tomorrow.
