Get on the write track with Barnsley Adult learnings shorthand courses
SHORTHAND courses will be available from September, from Barnsley Adult Learning Service.
The courses are for everyone – from beginners to advanced learners. Return learners wanting to build up their speed are also welcome.
Shorthand is a useful skill in many professions, from secretarial and office jobs to journalists.
The courses will begin in September at Holgate City learning Academy, Shaw Lane, Barnsley, from 5pm to 8pm.
The 30-week courses cost £240, which includes an exam.
Free taster sessions in shorthand will be available at Holgate CLC on Monday, 21 and Tuesday, 22 July, from 3pm to 6pm.
