Race to Barnsley libraries for new Bookstart Book Crawl certificates

BARNSLEY Libraries service is launching a beautiful new set of 10 Bookstart Book Crawl Certificates, which have been designed by up-and-coming new illustrators.

Bookstart Book Crawl is a library joining initiative. Families with young children collect four stickers at their local library to receive a certificate.

Bookstart has produced the new certificates to support the National Year of Reading’s Library Membership Campaign, which encourages people to join their local library.

The new set of Bookstart Book Crawl Certificates have been illustrated by 10 children's book illustrators who are either newly published or have never been published before.

Older children can also earn certificates and other incentives by participating in “Team Read”, this year’s Summer Reading Challenge which runs between Saturday, 12 July and Saturday, 6 September.
