WORSBROUGH Mill Museum near Barnsley will be recreating sounds of the past when the mill is put through its paces this Sunday (29 June).
Visitors will be able to see how the mill operates and follow the milling process as the last of the grain from 2007 is milled to make way for this year's harvest.
Staff will be on hand to answer any questions and the finished product will be available for sale in the mill shop. The white and wholemeal flours are traditionally stone-ground on a pair of 19thcentury French Burr stones powered by a cast iron water wheel, housed within a mill dating from the early 1600s.
The shop and mill open from 10.30am until 4pm and milling demonstrations take place between 11am and 2.30pm.
Worsbrough Mill Museum and Country Park at Worsbrough Bridge, Barnsley (S70 5LJ) is situated off junction 36 of the M1 (follow the brown signs).
