Highways Maintenance Programme on forum agenda

THE HIGHWAYS maintenance programme for 2008/09 forms the talking point for the next meeting of the Stairfoot and Worsbrough Area Forum, which takes place at 6.30pm on Wednesday, 4 June at Worsbrough Community Church, High Street, Worsbrough Dale.

A representative from council’s Highways and Engineering department will give a presentation on the programme. Also, Jackie Heald, Tasking Officer for the Safer Neighbourhood Team will be updating residents on community safety initiatives that have and will be taking place in the area.

Area Forum meetings offer an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions of councillors, community representatives and council officers about issues of local concern. Stairfoot and Worsbrough Area Forum covers Stairfoot, Ardsley, Kendray, Bank End, Ward Green, Worsbrough Bridge, Worsbrough Dale, Worsbrough Village, Aldham House Estate and Wombwell Lane.
