Large print book chat at Barnsley library

PEOPLE interested in joining a readers’ group which reads books in large print format are invited to become part of the latest group to be formed by Barnsley libraries service.

The group would get together at Barnsley Central Library, Shambles Street, once a month for a chat about books they enjoy, books they can’t put down and even those books they can’t pick up! 

Readers groups often read the same title and then tell other members whether they enjoyed the book or not – often resulting in a lively debate.

It’s an opportunity to discover new authors and make new friends who share a similar love of books and reading. Readers’ groups already meet regularly in many of Barnsley's libraries and are open to everyone, but this would be the first one specialising in large print.
