Private sector property improvement works for Royston
THE latest phase of private sector property improvement works is now well underway at Royston under the Green Corridor initiative. A total of 66 properties on Poplar Terrace, Back Poplar Terrace, Coronation Avenue and The Lilacs will be included.
The scheme, which is now in its third year at Royston, follows on from previous successful phases on Midland Road, Dove Hill, The Avenue and Milgate Street.
The works are geared towards giving properties a ‘facelift’ with improvements such as new boundary walls and gates, re-roofing, rendering and new windows and doors being undertaken to certain properties. The main contractor on site is Inspace Partnerships. Works are due to be completed by Christmas.
