ALBERT STREET, CHARLES STREET, CROSBY STREET, KINGS ROAD, CUDWORTH, BARNSLEY
TEMPORARY CLOSURE

NOTICE is hereby given that the Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order which will close Albert Street, Charles Street, Crosby Street, and Kings Road Cudworth for a distance of 20 metres from the junction with Pontefract Road

Reason: to enable resurfacing works on Pontefract Road

The proposed Order will become operative on 16th April 2007 for approximately 6 months. The roads will not be closed continuously

NOTICE is also given that the alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure are:

(1) Albert Street - Three Nooks Lane, Weetshaw lane and  Pontefract Road
(2) Charles Street  George Street and Pontefract Road
(3)  Crosby Street  Royston Road and Pontefract Road
(4) Kings Road  Pontefract Road, Weetshaw Lane and Three Nooks Lane
