UNDEFINED PUBLIC FOOTPATHS MANDELA GARDENS BARNSLEY TEMPORARY CLOSURE


NOTICE is hereby given that the Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an  Order which will close the four public footpaths which extend across the open space area bounded by Regent Street South, Hanson Street and the Civic Hall Barnsley

Reason:  to enable redevelopment of Mandela Gardens

The proposed Order will become operative on 7th April 2007 for approximately 6 months.

NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure is via Hanson Street, Regent Street South, The Arcade, Eldon Street.
