THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BARNSLEY
(VARIOUS ROADS AT BIRDWELL AND HOYLAND COMMON, BARNSLEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2007

NOTICE is hereby given that the Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council has made an Order which will close Chapel Street, Hay Green Lane, Rockley Avenue, The Walk, Wentworth Road, Worsbrough Road at Birdwell and Queen Street and Regent Street at Hoyland Common at each of their respective junctions with Sheffield Road (A61).

Reason: In the interests of public safety during the re-surfacing of Sheffield Road

The junctions will be closed as the works progress along Sheffield Road. The closures and alternative routes will be signed locally.

The Order will become operative on 5th March 2007 for a maximum duration of 18 months.
