TEMPORARY HGV RESTRICTION

NOTICE is hereby given that the Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order which will Introduce a restriction to HGV’s with a laden weight exceeding 7.5 tonnes on Barnsley Road Silkstone from Hoylandswaine Roundabout to the Bluebell Inn Roundabout

Reason: Highway retaining wall repairs

The proposed Order will become operative on 11th February 2008 for approximately 9 weeks

NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the HGV Restriction is via High Lee Lane, Oxspring Lane, Jockey Road, Coates Lane, Knabbs Lane, Ben Bank Road, Dodworth Green Road, Barnsley Road, North Road and Whinby Road
