NOTICE is hereby given that Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended by the Local Government Planning and Land Act 1980) intend to sell at the best market price 0.32 acres of land situate at Dove Hill Royston Barnsley South Yorkshire being part of a larger area of land in the ownership of the Council and held under the provisions of the Open Spaces Act 1906 and a copy of the plan showing the land to be sold may be seen during normal office hours at Barnsley Connects Civic Hall Service Centre Eldon Street Barnsley.                                                                                                                       

Any objection to the proposed sale must be made in writing to The Borough Secretary Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council Town Hall Barnsley S70 2TA before the 25th day of  February 2008 and should state the grounds of the objection
