THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BARNSLEY
(VARIOUS PUBLIC FOOTPATHS BARNSLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2008

NOTICE is hereby given that the Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council has made an Order which will close public footpath nos 22 Dodworth, 277 Barnsley and no 9 Stainborough from Gilroyd Lane Dodworth, eastward beside the Trans Pennine Trail, west to Round Green Lane and footpath no 277 across the M1 footbridge

REASON:   demolition of footbridge

The Order will commence on 25th March 2008 for approximately 5 months.

NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for pedestrians affected by the Order is via

(1) To Round Green Lane:  Gilroyd Lane

(2)  Across M1: Gilroyd Lane, Smithy Wood Lane, Trans Pennine Trail, Footpath 276 and Green Lane
