THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BARNSLEY
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NOS. 205, 216 AND NON-DEFINITIVE FOOTPATH DEARNE VALLEY PARK) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2008

NOTICE is hereby given that the Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council has made an Order which will close:-

(i) Public Footpath No. 205 Barnsley from Public Footpath No. 217 crossing the dam bank between 2 ponds
(ii) Public Footpath No. 216 Barnsley from Public Footpath No. 205 from the dam bank to Newlyn Drive
(iii) Non-Definitive Public Footpath Dearne Valley Park from the aqueduct bridge steps

REASON:   dam head bank repairs

The Order will commence on 14th July 2008 for approximately 6 weeks.

NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for pedestrians affected by the Order is via public footpath nos. 191, 217, 190 and 215
