THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BARNSLEY
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NOS. 8, 9, & 10 DARFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2008

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport  has authorised an extension of the above named Order for a period of six months until 11th January 2009 the effect of  which will close public footpath no. 8 Darfield, from Middle Farm off Edderthorpe Lane; footpath no. 9, from Edderthorpe Lane and footpath no.10, from Salters Brook Road, all to the northern end of Little Houghton Lane.


REASON:   To enable flood damage to be repaired.

 

NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for pedestrians affected by the Order is via Edderthorpe Lane.
