NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT OF DATE FOR THE EXERCISE OF ELECTORS’ RIGHTS
ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2008

This notice will be displayed from 5 June 2008 to 18 June 2008

Each year the smaller relevant body’s annual return is audited by an auditor appointed by the Audit Commission and any person interested has the opportunity to inspect and make copies of the annual return and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating to them.

These documents for South Yorkshire Sports Partnership are to be made available between the hours of 9.00am and 4.00pm on Mondays to Fridays (excluding public holidays).

Local Government Electors and their representatives also have the opportunity to question the auditor about the accounts and the right to make objections to the accounts or any item in them.  Written notice of an objection must be given to the auditor and a copy sent to the smaller relevant body.  The auditor can be contacted at the address below for this purpose from the 24 July 2008 until the audit has been completed.

The smaller relevant body’s audit is being conducted under the provisions of the Audit Commission Act 1998, the Accounts and Audit (Amendment) Regulations 2006 and the Audit Commission’s Code of Audit Practice.
