NOTICE is hereby given that Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council as Trustee under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended by the Local Government Planning and Land Act 1980) and the Charities Act 1993 intend to grant a Lease for 5 years of 129 square metres of land (together with the pavilion erected thereon) situate on the northerly side of the bowling greens at Royston Welfare Park off Midland Road Royston  Barnsley  South Yorkshire  being part of a larger area of land in the ownership of the Council and held under the provisions of the Open Spaces Act 1906 and the Charities Act 1993 and a copy of the plan showing the land (and pavilion) to be let may be seen at the Barnsley Connects Service Centre Civic Hall Eldon Street Barnsley during normal office hours Monday to Friday

Any objection to the proposed Lease must be made in writing to the Borough Secretary  Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council  Town Hall  Barnsley  S70 2TA (quoting reference: EMR/PY/112/13731) before the Seventh day of November Two thousand and eight and should state  the grounds of the objection
