(BARNSLEY)(No2) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2008    

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above-named Orders were made by the Council on the 16th September 2008. Planning permission has been granted to develop land at St Helens Avenue, Barnsley for housing and a diversion is necessary to enable the development to take place. The effect of the Orders will be to divert footpath 81 from its present line via a new cul-de-sac on to the adjacent public open space at a different location and then by the shortest route to the present junction of footpath 81 with footpath 80.
 
Copies of the Orders and the Order maps are available for viewing at the Barnsley Connects Service Centre, Civic Hall, Eldon St, Barnsley (where copies can be purchased for a small charge) and at the Monk Bretton Library, Lamb Lane, Barnsley, S71 2DX during normal business hours, Mondays to Fridays.

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the undersigned (quoting reference PG/263/00294) not later than 20th October 2008.  The grounds on which they are made should be stated.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Borough Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order.  If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
