Public Footpath 33 Diversion Order

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BARNSLEY (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO 33)
(BARNSLEY) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2008       


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above-named Order was made on the 9th September 2008.
The effect of the Order will be to divert Public Footpath Number 33, Barnsley, as shown on the Order map, from where the existing footpath 33 [known as Far Field Lane] meets the (as yet undeveloped) new Far Field Lane at Grid reference 37128/08843, proceeding in a north easterly direction for approximately 260m to Grid reference 37307/09019. It will be diverted to a line approximately 15 metres north of the existing line of Far Field Lane, with a permissive bridleway between 2.8 and 4.5 metres in width, commencing at Grid reference 37128/08843, proceeding in a curved, generally north easterly direction for approximately 230m to Grid reference 37269/09017 at its junction with the new Far Field Lane and then across the new Far Field Lane in a curved generally easterly direction for 42 m to Grid reference 37307/09019.

A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at the Barnsley Connects Service Centre, Civic Hall, Eldon Street, Barnsley (where copies can be purchased for a small charge) and at the Cudworth Library, Roberts St, Barnsley, S72 8UQ during normal business hours.

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing and addressed to the undersigned not later than the 27th October 2008 quoting reference CR/PG/263/00298.  The grounds on which they are made should be stated.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order.  If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
