Public Footpath No 11 Darfield and Non Definitive Footpath Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians Order 2008

(AS AMENDED)

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BARNSLEY
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 11 DARFIELD AND NON-DEFINITIVE FOOTPATH
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2008


NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State has authorised an extension of the above-named Order for a further period of six months until 29th March 2009. The effect of the Order is to close public footpath no.11 at Darfield from All Saints Church to the recreation ground and the non-definitive from Meadow Lane to the church yard.

REASON:   in the interests of public safety.

NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for pedestrians affected by the Order is via Doncaster Road, Pinfold Lane and School Street.
