THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BARNSLEY (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO 9)
(OXSPRING) (NO 2) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2008

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above-named Order, made on the 24th September 2008 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public footpath running from a point 53 metres northwest of its junction with Willow Lane for a distance of 58 metres in a generally westerly and then north westerly direction onto a line running from the said point and proceeding in a south westerly, westerly and then north westerly direction for a distance of 77 metres, as shown on the Order map.

Copies of the Order and the Order map are available for viewing at the Barnsley Connects Service Centre, Civic Hall, Eldon St Barnsley (where copies can be purchased for a small charge) and at the Branch Library, High Street,  Penistone during normal business hours, Mondays to Fridays.

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the undersigned (quoting reference CR/PG/263/00293) not later than 27th October.  The grounds on which they are made should be stated.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Borough Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order.  If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
