THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BARNSLEY
(UNDEFINED PUBLIC FOOTPATHS MANDELA GARDENS BARNSLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2007

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State has authorised an extension of the above-named Order for a further period of six months until 6th April 2009. The effect of the Order is to close the undefined footpaths which extend across the site of the Mandela Gardens area between Regent Street South, Hanson Street and the Civic Hall Barnsley

REASON:   to enable the re-development of Mandela Gardens

NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for pedestrians affected by the Order is via Hanson Street, Regent Street South, The Arcade, Eldon Street and vice versa
