Summary
The 4 countryside rangers are responsible for carrying out the maintenance of 750 kilometres of Public Right of Way (including the Trans Pennine Trail) and 25 countryside sites.
Eligibility
The Ranger Services is accessed through the Countryside Officer
Procedure
If a member of the public encounters a maintenance issue on a public right of way or countryside site they should contact the countryside officer by telephoning 01226 772646 or email publicrightsofway@barnsley.gov.uk

Response Times/Next Steps
If we receive a maintenance complaint the response time will depend upon the seriousness and nature of the issue
