Education Sites Development Plan Document - Issues and Options

In October and November, 2005, the Council consulted on the first draft of the Education Sites Development Plan Document, known as the Issues and Options stage.

The focus of the 'Issues and Options' consultation was on the pattern of secondary school provision and deciding where rebuilt schools should go. The Education Sites Development Plan document sets out site options for the reorganisation of secondary schools.

Following this consultation we will set out our preferred sites for secondary school reorganisation and consult on them at a stage known as 'Preferred Options.' The Preferred Options stage of consultation is due to begin in June 2006.
