The Regional Spatial Strategy: The Yorkshire and Humber Plan was published by the Government in May 2008 and now forms part of the Boroughs Statutory Development Plan.
The Regional Spatial Strategy sets out the broad development strategy for the Region and covers topics such as housing, economic development, transport, the environment and regeneration.
The Yorkshire and Humber Assembly is looking to update the Regional Spatial Strategy to look at housing growth in the Region and explore the infrastructure needed to accomodate this growth. Please use the following weblink to view information on the Regional Spatial Strategy 2009 Update.
