Section B - Site Stewardship
The aim of this award is to recognize companies who take pride in the high standards of their workmanship and have health and safety as a top priority for both workers and visitors associated with their sites.

Phase I of the site consists of 70 dwellings, comprising of detached and town houses, 60% of which were completed and the majority of those remaining were under construction at the time of final judging.
Last years high standard of workmanship, quality and site cleanliness had been maintained through the building programme, even though the site is accessed through newly occupied properties. Agent was always prompt and efficient, giving advanced notification when requesting inspections.

The site consists of 12 flats contained within 3 blocks. It is a small former school site with limited access off the main road, that had some ground condition problems.
The quality of workmanship, and tidiness through all phases of construction was of a high standard, in particular each trade took great care in the quality of his finished work. The site was run in a friendly and helpful manner with ample notification of inspections. Any difficulties were resolved on site to achieve satisfactory results.

The site was accessed through an existing residential estate and consists of 56 large detached houses, half of which are complete. Almost all of the remainder were under construction.
This site shows a great improvement since last year and deserves a commendation for the quality of workmanship throughout and the respect and consideration shown towards other householders during the daily building process.

The site consisted of 48 detached dwellings in a small village. Special foundations are being constructed as the site mainly consisted of filled ground. Only 12 houses were under construction at the time of judging, with 2 completed.
The workmanship was of a high standard, with particular care being shown to keeping the site clear of debris.

for site stewardship at: "The Cheviots", Monk Bretton, Barnsley
The site consists of detached houses and bungalows totalling 37 dwellings, with more than half either under construction, or completed at the time of judging.
The properties are constructed in a traditional manner, generally to a high standard.
All those receiving commendations were of a very high standard and were very close to winning an award.
