Article: Council spending plans consultation Article Body Each year Barnsley Council consults with its residents in preparation for its budget setting process through established local consultation processes. In addition consultation also takes place with the Business Community to hear any specific concerns or issues that they may have. Findings from the budget consultation are fed into the annual budget setting process and is then used to inform decision making and also feeds into the council's service planning process. The council is committed to listening and responding to the views of residents and we particularly want to provide you with the opportunity to have your say on these important issues.
