How You can help
You can help by paying your Council Tax promptly.
Applicants must inform the Council as soon as possible if there are any changes to the information provided. This may affect the Council Tax charge and applicants will have to repay any discount to which they are not entitled.
A Change in Circumstances form can be completed where necessary although information can also be provided in writing or verbally over the telephone.
In certain circumstances a form may require the applicant's signature.
You can help by providing accurate information, having your Council Tax number to hand when making enquiries, completing the appropriate forms and supplying all supporting evidence detailed on the form. In the interests of confidentiality and data protection you should have your Council Tax account reference to hand when making an enquiry.
Forms are scanned onto computer to create electronic images. To enable the form to be easily read please complete it using dark blue or black ink. Forms and letters should be signed.
The provision of up-to-date contact details and telephone numbers will enable the Council to contact you regarding your account if necessary
